August 3, 2022 Writing Report

Today has been productive for me in the typing in of Shadows and Dust. I have already made some changes for the betterment of the story that I can carry through the book. I will be working forward with the small changes and unless the characters take hold of the pen I will be able to stay on track for what I am seeing for the ending of the book.

For the book I will be working on once I get Shadows and Dust to my editor, I am going to revisit The Price of Coffee to see if I am able to get it to the point where I can start the editing process next year. Depending on how well it flows for me, I may set it back down to write a book of essays to rest the mind from the creative side which could be a good thing. But that is in the future so I am not worried about that yet. I still have to finish with Shadows and Dust.

With me, I am enjoying the summer as much as I can because the cold Canadian winter on the flat lands of Saskatchewan will be moving in. Don't get me wrong, I do like the winter because the sun sets at a better time and I can watch it and not worry about it being like 11 at night when it is dark. Normally around 7 the sun is down in the winter months.
