Book Review of Cari Mora by Thomas Harris

I will start this review on the note that when I started this book it was going to be something like the Hannibal Lecter books. I was surprised that it wasn't and it made for a good read.

Harris does an amazing job in creating the characters throughout the book and keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. The chapters are short for the most part which helps with the tempo that the book goes at.

I enjoyed how Harris tells the story and the detail that he goes into with the scenes for the murders that happen throughout the book. There are some parts of the book where I would have left out of the story, however he does make them work well.

The main plot of the story is around a treasure that is in a safe and the battle between two factions who are after it. It makes for a great read and I would recommend this book if you are looking for something different to read. I do have to warn there are some scenes that are a little graphic but well written.

It is overall a good read and something different from Harris that, in my opinion, can follow up his earlier books with another book with great characters in it. As I have said, it is a great read and I look forward to reading his earlier books again to give my review on them.
