Today as I get ready to work on Chapter 15 I look at how much I have gotten done since I stepped way from the work world because of my illness. In the last few months I have gotten a lot written and being able to put my writing first has helped me in the long run. I know that there have been days when I don't want to write but I continue forward with it on those days. I have 2 or 3 more chapters in the book which I am hoping that I get done by the end of the month so I can start the editing in the new year.
Over the last few months I have had my struggles getting use to not working a job but in all reality the job has just changed to my writing. The one thing that has made this transition easier is the fact that I sit down every day to write 2000 words in my journal that I keep every day. It is something that I find helps with my work and as I push on forward I am making sure that I have what I need here at home.
I will be looking to start the publishing part of the book in 2022 as I want to take next year to do the editing. I know that this process is longer than I want but for a good book I want to spend as much time as I can to get it right and that way it will be a good follow up book to the first An Individual's Innocence book.
I already have some ideas for the third book of the series which I will be starting the work on it when I have given the second to my editors for their edits next year. With all I will work on it with the hope that I will have it ready for a 2023 release. I know that this is in the future and I have to set the goals for them as I will be working towards the series. I am unsure how many books will be in the series so as I move forward with it I will let the story tell me.
Anyway, I hope that you are all doing well and staying safe.
