December 21, 2022 Writing Update

Starting off this week, I have to rewrite some of Shadows and Dust as for what I had written just doesn't fit the way that I thought it would. I have let my editor know that I will have the book to her after Christmas holidays.

That is the reason why I hand write all of my stuff before typing it in because that way I can do an edit on it. Most people say it takes longer and well it is not like time is a problem for me as I am retired.

Once I hand it off to my editor, I will be spending at least one year in the editing phase with it before I go to the publisher in 2024.

For my other project that I will be working on next year, I will be aiming to have it written by the fall of 2023 and then starting the editing for that.

As of now, there is a cold snap where I am now with temps in the -30's degrees C. I love winter but not the cold that we get here in Western Canada.
