June 28, 2023 Writing Update

Well to start this week off I will be finishing up on my present read on Shadows and Dust. The next step is to give it to one of my editors for them to check it over. This part of the process of writing the book always feels like I am getting to where I need to be and that the end is in sight. I will be spending another few months with Shadows and Dust before I get the publishing package from my publisher. I am hoping to have that money by the end of next year. So Shadows and Dust will be out in 2025. I will be continuing work on it up until I start the publishing.
For Echoes of Yesterday I am going to be getting back to work on it once I have sent Shadows and Dust to the editor. For Echoes of Yesterday I will be using the KDP program through Amazon and I am looking at 2024 to have it released once it is ready. So I should be having it ready by the summer at the latest for its release.
As I continue with my work, I have been jotting down ideas for the book that will be written once I am finished with Echoes of Yesterday. For now it is just in the idea stage and I am getting some good ones for it. Once I start to write it I will have a better idea of how many books it is going to take to write it. I am hoping for just one at the 300 page mark.
