May 11, 2022

After four days on the road I am finally home and able to get back to working full time once again. The holiday that was extended because of close contact with COVID has brought in more time for me to think about what direction for Shadows and Dust. For you all to know both of my COVID tests were negative.

Anyway, for the time that I had to think on Shadows and Dust, I have a better idea of where I am going to take it. I have jotted down some notes and I will be working with them through the rest of the first draft. This time I am going to do something different with the writing this time and that is to have the first draft completed before taking it to the computer.

I will be starting chapter 3 this week and I know that it could take me at least this month if I put in the time to write the draft for Shadows and Dust. I know that is a lofty goal as it is the 11th of the month as it is. Not to mention the yard work that I will be doing which will take a couple of days to do, but I will try to have it ready for June to start to put it into the computer.

For The Fog of Time, I haven't heard anything back from the publisher yet and when they did get ahold of me I was told around 2 or 3 weeks until I will be making my approval for the book. It is getting closer for me to get the price and that is where I will find out the ruff release date. I do know how much the books will be costing me but I will have to wait for when I get my copy of the book so I can go down to Canada Post to find out the shipping. The cost of the book will be the same price that it will be with Chapter's Bookstores here in Canada, but they will be personally signed and the shipping would be the same I think. Once I know what they are being sold for I will be letting you all know how to get ahold of me to get your copy.

For the orders, I will be leaving my email and that is how you will be able to get ahold of me and it will be pre-order pre-pay. For the payments, the best way will be through e-transfer as that will be the easiest method for both you and me.

Anyway, till next week stay safe.
