The Author's Corner: Deja vu

It is like I have lived this life I have over and over again. Like a repeating track that I am unable to change. Every night I go to sleep and my life plays out as I slip into a different world, yet to wake the following morning here in my home. What if our dreams are when we die and by waking up the following morning we are in heaven? This is what déjà vu is for me and as a writer who writes a daily journal, I have often wondered what is real and what is just a dream.
I have heard from many people with their own different explanations for what déjà vu is. All the way from we have it before we die since the brain stays active after death to that our future selves are remembering the time making the memory feel like it is repeating. Truly I do not know how it works is. It is something that happens to me on a regular basis, so maybe it is time to slow down or being in the moment.
In our lives most of us have had a strong case of déjà vu that we were here before the moment has happened. From my own experience that I have at least one moment everyday and somethings more than that. My question is what does it mean? For you reading this, have you experienced it?
There is one thing that when we experience it, it could be God/the Creator pushing the save button on our lives. Something that has crossed my mind a few times, the reason for reliving our lives over and over again.
If you believe that your life is an open book, and everyone’s book is written differently, thus déjà vu is our souls reading our story and the book closes when we lay down for our rest. Then the next morning when we wake, our minds relive our life from birth to the beginning of the new day. This would mean that as our story is being read, we are also writing it in a way.
The one thing is that all we have is today. Living in the moment and knowing that the only one we can control is ourselves and to write our life.
Stay safe.
