Release from what? That is the question I have been thinking about lately. Looking back on my life I have let many things go. All of them hard choices that have had to be made. Over the past few years since my retirement in 2020 have not been the need to make any major decision.
Release can mean different things to may people. For some it could be giving yourself to religion. This change can happen at any time as we search for answers when we are at the end of our line. Sometimes it is brought on by wanting to right your passage into what is the afterlife.
The one release that is hard is to move on from is the past. So many of us are trapped by our past. We try to move on and forget about it, however until we deal with it that is when we stop the problems will be right there waiting for us. Sometimes it takes some help along the way through counselling. Until we deal with it, the past stays in control of our lives.
Over the history of mankind there have been great events that have made society to release of the old ways of seeing things. There is the one fact that society itself needs to release the way we view people. Everyone is battling something that no one else knows about. To give respect to everyone is something in which is needed so much in today’s world.
Yet to release is to let go. The main thing is that we have the ability to do so. It takes a great deal of strength in doing so. Change has always been something that takes time and effort. What you do today turns into what your future could be.
In all there is our lives, and it is up to us to release those things that are negative in our lives. Over what I know is that there is going to be a change in society that will take us into a greater place where we will all be equal.
Stay safe.
