Empty spaces, something that I think are to be found in the area that you live, a city, town or in the wide-open country. They can be found in all areas that we call home. There however is the question of do you look for them? Some of us drive for hours to find that one place where the spot comes calling to us through our soul.
Over the years that we have in this world, we search for that calming place and until we find it, we are truly lost. They say that religion is one of these areas in our personal life which brings us to God/the Creator. I often wonder if that is where we empty our soul before we find that inner peace.
In the time that we live in today, society is moving us at light speed which causes us to have less time to ourselves. Everyone is chasing what they have been told by media of what should be in their lives. This indoctrination from the media makes us slaves to it which is leading our lives forward to an end. My opinion is that the mass media is leading most people like sheep.
Finding yourself takes time and it means disconnecting from all media platforms from TV to
social media and not to mention the written media from newspapers and magazines. When the need of an empty space becomes a true reality, you will find it as it was always there and time stops. You get a better understanding of what your life is in those moments and the things that are important to you. That is what happens when you find yourself.
The battle for your own place of peace comes down to you. No one is going to hand you that place as if it is what society owes you. If you want to achieve great things it comes to the point to where everything happens when you take that first steps forward. Your life’s story is written by you; however, society tries to write it, thus there is always going to be a struggle. Once you take that first step in writing your story, you begin to end the media’s hold on you.
No one wants to fail in life even when they are at their lowest point in life. There is the urge to question what is the reason for your life? I will tell you this and that is you matter. At times it is hard to see this and that is when you will always find that moment where God/the Creator shows up in your life. It may be a surprise job offer that you have always wanted or it could be as easy as talking to some stranger on the way to work because God/the Creator works in unexpecting ways.
The empty spaces could come down to having to start your life over again, however you are starting from today. At least you will know what did not work the first time. Everyday that we wake up is a fresh start because today is all we have to live. Take every moment as you will and what you choose to do, you will always be in your place. Do not give up as tomorrow has not come yet and it will be better than today.
Stay safe.
