The Author's Corner: Made of Steel

In so many aspects of life we see and hear these three words. Sometimes they refer to someone who stand up for what they believe in and push forward. Other times it is like the steel rails that the modern-day trains roll on everyday, solid and dependable. Yet under extreme pressure all steel will fail.

Emotional strength is something that can only be achieved from handling all the experiences that we have to go through day in and day out. It takes years for most, however there are those who have to grow up quickly because of negative events that are happening in their lives.

These people who have been hurt repeatedly turn into having nerves of steel and with most of them being very cold to the world outside of their realm. They have experienced pain that most normal people could never imagine. As they walk among us, there are very straight forward and at time can be extremely blunt. The reason is because of the constant war with themselves because of what has happened in their past is still affecting them.

Over the years we have witnessed things that have changed the course of humanity. It is in these events where we have seen nations fall as the history books show. In todays society, the world is small and those who are in power one day could be taken out the next, be it an uprising, election or by another countries government. As time moves forward, some see these political leaders who stand up for the people face the greatest threat of being removed, thus they are made of steel.

Where do you measure up for strength? Do you follow or lead? If you are one who leads your own life, your strength started the day that you stepped out of someone’s shadow to walk your own path. At first it was a second guess at the time as you made your decision to lead your life. As you moved forward on your own path, your belief in yourself grew and you have become like steel in the molten form as you have followed only your dreams and goals.

For the time that it is now where I am writing this, there is no real leadership to be shown. Too many countries are at war with each other from the trade wars to the shooting wars.

When will we see peace or as all major religions say that God/the Creator will be coming back. There is the world I live which is without the need for what is on the news or TV. I spend very little time in general on social media, the only reason I have accounts is because of staying in contact with my friends and family and as well my career as an author.

Throughout everything with each trial we face in our lives, it is strengthening us in one way or another. If we can find our way through the hard times and let them go, we will be stronger and it will be for the best. No one’s life is easier than someone else’s because we all have to walk the path that God/the Creator has placed for us to follow. We are all in our own world and if we are lucky, we have a few close friends and some family who will always be there when we fall all is well.
