No matter who we are or where we live, we all are walking wounded. For some the wounds are physically seen as others are emotional. We all have lived a life that has shaped us through the harsh reality of life. The fact is that everyone has a past that has at times brought them to the point of giving up.

As there are many formers of wounds that come from everything that is physical, mental and spiritual. Each one of these forms has moulded us into the person that we have become. Everyone of us feel that our past was harder than other peoples, however until we are able to walk in their shoes and experience their feelings, we will never know their pain.

There has been times when a great deal of people have gone through the same trauma.

Some of these things are weather, war, plagues or political upheaval. As of the standing of time here in 2025 we are being faced with World War Three that could spark at anytime, however we have been here before in my own life a few times. We have faced COVID which changed the way we all see illness on the world level where the world itself is a global community.

On a lighter note, when we look at the personal, it depends where we call home. No matter the country, we see things differently. As a society, we are walking wounded because there is pressure from the ruling class telling us to fall in line. We often follow what is being told to us and for those who stand up are deemed as mentally ill in the western world and find themselves drugged up on medication and written off by society, I know this from experience.

Over the history of man, there has been war most of the time in one part of the world or the other. There have been events that has changed our direction of where we were going and the beliefs that were tied to them. As well there have been world leaders who controlled the known world and they all have fallen from grace, if you need to open up a world history book as there are many classic examples. We have seen steps forward in all industries from the dark ages, one of the biggest steps in recent history is the medical field during the 1930’s and 1940’s.

Yet by walking wounded we have found ourselves time and again. We have stood up to repression and led civil right movement for freedom of all people. Still, we are all individuals and carry our own problems as we have walked our path. In what has been our life, we have shown strength to carry on which has helped others by being a positive influence.

For what I have been through from a young age and up until now in 2025, I have carried pain to the point of suicide. At least I knew I needed help before acting on that thought. I have seen the inside of the mental wards here in Canada on three separate occasions and in two different hospitals. I have carried my own wounded soul through the valley of death many times and cried out for understanding, yet I always rise every morning.

We all have struggles and have been wounded, it comes down to standing up to find the will to continue no matter what.

Stay safe.
