At the end of our lives, we are left to what we have done during our time between birth and death. All of us have been through a lot and some more than others. As the closing hours come to the physical death, we are unsure if there is an afterlife. For what it is worth there is only our experiences that we have had, some good and other times the bad.
When we are young there is no thought of death as our lives are just starting. We take our lives in our hands when we step out into the world after high school. A good number of us go onto furthering our education. Life, in itself, is a big classroom even after our schooling is done because we never stop learning. The lessons that come to shape us into who we become.
Most of us follow what society tells us what is right. The path that most of us take is laid out in front of us by our career choices. We are influenced by the people who we are around the most. One moment we are starting our career and the next it is the settling down with someone and starting a family.
There are those who stay single as they have their own goals and dreams that they want to reach before finding a place to call home. In today’s society, we see that our twenties are when we make most of the choices that will pave our futures. In the time that you have is up to you how you want it to be.
On the day that our time is up in this physical world, the question that we have is, ‘Did we live a good and meaningful life?’ To answer that question is did we live our life the way we wanted to. There is the time when we have maybe had a close call of leaving this world before our time. In these times we are given another chance at life and for most of us it is when we wake up to reality that we can lose our lives very quickly.
When there are no more tears shed, and we have accepted our fate we will pass to the next stage of life. We will miss those who died before us as it is natural and when it is our time we will be missed as well. Take your life in your own hands and live it to the fullest.
Stay safe.
