When it comes to our personal lives, it is hard at times to say what we mean. We do not want to hurt others unless you are a mean hearted person, then it is a different story. What troubles most of us is how do we act towards the people what we hold in our inner circle of our family and friends? Sometime the answers are right there for us to see and others take their time to show themselves.
We are all connected to the people who are in our lives from our family, friends and co-workers. These people help shape us into the person who we become and that process is continuing every minute of every day. At times there is frustration as we may not agree with someone’s idea of what we should do. In saying this, we have to not try and tell others how to live their lives.
Most of us have made decisions after talking with our families and friends about what to do. There is the which path to take and if you take a different course, you may upset those who have advised you. One of the things is that when we add people into our decision making, we see their true colours. That is when we see what they truly think of us, sometimes it is better to look at the situation and make our own decision.
In our lives there will be hard times, some of us will go through them on our own, not because no one will help, the reason is that we choose to let the experience to touch us. I know from my own experience that I have taken that path a time or two. Learning lessons and to test yourself is what the hard time are. During those times we also see who really is supportive of us.
Then come the time when you go into retirement, most people do not have any idea of what they are going to do. It takes some time to figure out that path. Some take up their hobbies that they have had for years and just did not have to time to do them. They fall into them, and it becomes their new career no matter what it is. Others, like me, have had to take early retirement because of medical reasons. I was forty-one when my illness took me out of the work force.
My early retirement was hard to take at first because I felt that I could continue to work, however I would have ended up in the hospital again. The first two months were hard until I was shown that where I always wanted a career as an author, I now had the time to follow it. There are those of us who continue on with life after retirement no matter what it take to do it.
Coming from the heart, we all are on our own life path that we have decided to be on and the real people in your life will always be there for you even when they leave this physical realm that we are on.
Stay safe.
