Behind every person there is a monster, the side that most never see until it is too late. This monster I call it anger and for some it controls their lives. Anger can destroy a relationship in one out burst. Something that is said can not be taken back and it could end that relationship with that person.
In anger, there are ways people can cover it and they have a handle on it themselves. These people are slow to anger because they keep that emotion in check. They know what can happen if they lose their control with it.
There are those who have no control and most of these people have burned bridges with what friend and family they had. Living this way, they do not know why they are alone or disconnected from the rest of the community. They say sorry however that does not take back how they made the other person feel. In that situation most people keep their distance from the person and there is always someone in the family that is like this. It is something where people stop coming around because they do not want to be bothered by this hateful person.
That is where most anger comes from, and it is hate that is the monster in them. This hate comes from situations that happened in their past so in a way it is not their fault. What is their fault is how they respond to dealing with that time in their life. Who wants to be around a person like that? At times it is these individuals who need the help, and it takes someone strong enough to lead them to get that help.
Anyone who lets their anger to rule their lives has lost in the end because they may have family around them, however it is only in the physical sense. There is no other connection there and they are only waiting for that family member to move on to the next stage of life. I could be wrong; however, it is what I see.
It is the person who is able to control their monster who has the gift to be a good person. They release their anger in positive ways. In ways they use this monster as the fuel to move them forward in life and for those of us who are able to do this will always reach what they desire. I know that part as I have used my monster to guide me to the pen and write. We all have our battles with this monster, and it comes down to you to use it in the right way.
Stay safe.
