First off The Gunslinger, book 1 of The Dark Tower series, was a good introduction to the main character of the series. With most of King's writing, this book is very well written as it ends with you wanting more.
King takes you for a ride through the beginning of a long journey that Roland, the main character, is on. This journey is to the dark tower that is mentioned more in the last chapter of the book. As well he leaves you with the imagination of what could be next for Roland.
In what is the beginning of the series, I am looking forward to see what is next for Roland and where King takes the story next.
The next book is called The Drawing of the Three as I will be continuing with the series until it is finished.
It's great that you and your partner are looking to explore BDSM together and want to understand each other's preferences better! Communication is key, and sometimes tools can help facilitate those conversations. Taking a BDSM compatibility test or even individual preference quizzes can be a really insightful exercise. It provides a structured way to think about and articulate your desires, limits, and curiosities. You could each take a test and then discuss your results, which can open up new avenues for communication about your shared and individual interests within BDSM. It’s a way to approach the topic with curiosity and an open mind, ensuring you're both on the same page as you explore this aspect of your intimacy.
