This one takes me to the song Pink Floyd wrote. The first time I heard the song, something in me came alive. What I have taken out of that song is that the soul is alive after the physical death and it is one of my favorite songs from that band.

As we come to our lives and look back on what we have been through, my question is what happens when our lives change? To start off again from the experience of the time we take to look back on our past is something that we all do. We need to keep in mind that we are not that person who we were then.

When we start making changes in our life, it is like we are learning to fly once again. We come to an end of a chapter in our own life, and it is up to us to start out again. One of the biggest chapters is when we finish our schooling. Most people start their career in their chosen field. Then our life starts to change more as we begin our life as an adult. Some of us travel as we look for a place to call home.

Those who follow society’s rules will settle with a need to find a good job, spouse to raise a family with. Then spending two weeks a year as holidays and work until retirement age. As well there is also going into debt, something that everyone goes through. Something that makes no sense to me and to work to pay off debt in life is not a positive thing to do. Yes, I have been down that road before.

There are those who continue to educate themselves through reading for enjoyment, others read university books on different subjects that interest them, one way to get an education for free other than the price of the book. Yet, some do distance learning to further their goals and careers. The thing about reading is that it does not matter the type of book because it helps to keep the mind sharp. Every book has a lesson to be learnt from it.

Learning to fly, in all respects is something that happens in all parts of our lives. The question for you is, ‘Are you going to continue your life?’ Take the steps off that cliff that you are on, and the net will be there if you fall. Take flight with your life and you can do anything that you put your mind to.

Stay safe.
