When it comes to life, I think that most of us have guided our lives in one way or the other. What we do during our lives translates from our daily activities. Unless we are retired, most of our weekdays are getting up and going to work and then for the remainder of the day is our other life that we live.

To take it a bit further, our free time is spent doing what makes us happy. If we are single, by choice, our days are filled with reaching our goals and dreams. Something that happens through our work, that all depends on if we are in a career that we want to become one of the best at. For me, I have been single for most of my life, and I spent and still spend most of my free time studying different topics which keeps my mind sharp.

The steps that are taken is up to us and no matter who is in our lives, from friends and family, if they support us, it gives us the drive to achieve our goals. We can not choose our family even though there are time in which we wish that we could. With friends it is a different story as there are those who become like family to us as they are there through the hard time and are not afraid to call you out when it is needed. These are the friends that we all need.

In time, we can see what our life was meant to be as we always find ourselves at different times in life. It can be a moment when you are on holidays at the lake fishing with a good friend. Most of the time this is where it happens when we are not at work. In the same breath there are times when we reach that point when we achieve a promotion that we have wanted at our place of work.

The time in which we have left on this realm, there is the other side which is death. We can only smile at this fact because we all will pass from this world that we know. Most ask the question, ‘Is there an afterlife?’ In what I think is that our souls do not know when we physically die. I believe that we just continue following the path that God/the Creator has in store for us. For most who follow the faith of their religion, they face a final judgment and that is how they see it.

In saying that, I feel that most people miss out on the real meaning of life. We all have our own beliefs, and I do not want someone to thing that their faith is stronger that someone else’s. We are all equal and no one religious faith is better that the other. I say that because everyone is different. For me, I am closer to a Buddhist than any other belief.

Does this make me better than anyone else? The answer is no because what works for someone else is not for me to judge.

I believe life goes on no matter what we do for a career or out religious belief.

Stay safe.
