We all face trials in our life from time to time. The come in many sizes and shapes. Sometimes we lose everything we have built up after we have left our family home. Other times it has to do with our careers. What we do when a trial comes to us?

In many ways we face trials everyday of our lives, however we may not see them. The reason for that is because the life we live is always changing every moment of the day. You could be in a ruff spot in life where it seems like everything is going wrong and we can not see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As those times will come to pass, the challenges of going through the hardships of life makes it look like it will never end. All of us face this time in our life and it come down to how we handle ourselves during these times.

With all trials, they are more of a time of learning lessons about what we need to understand to continue. At times it may be easy going as you pass through these lesser events that come up. There is the job promotion and the first few weeks of it we are learning what our new responsibilities are, yet it is a trial that we are going through. As for a different note, it could be the news of a baby that is being welcomed into the house. These are a couple of the good trials we can face.

The day and age we are in is much different than what our parents and grandparents have been through. What we see as a problem, to our parents it could have been just a small issue.

As it is 2025 for me and I am forty-six, I have seen and been through many trials that have shaped my life to what it is now. There have been times when I have wanted to give up on my life, starting back when I lived in Leader. I know that I have wished I did not go through the hate that was placed against me, however it was the fuel I needed to drive me forward in life.

There are times when we battle through the trials and we only see more of the same. The things about life is that there are always going to be new problems that arise, however to manage through them comes down to how you view your life. Through each hardship there is a lesson that is being learned and as you move forward in life it will become easier. You will still have trials, however you will have a better understanding of how to handle them.

Life in itself can be easy or hard, it just comes down to how you live it. I have seen many things from my own life that have made me to be thankful that I did not give up. From having been diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2005, suicidal thoughts in 2010 and to see my illness take me out of the work force in 2020.

Today is all we have, so make the best of it and take on the trials that you will face with a positive attitude.

Stay safe.
